My favourite team is Manchester United. They are my favourite team because all my family support them. My favourite players are Ronaldo, Rooney and Giggs. I was in Manchester twice with my Uncle and Granddad. We went to watch them playing. My favourite player of all time is Georgie Best. This year they won the won the Premiership.

My favourite football team is Benfica but I'm the only one at home, all of them love Sporting!
Who played in Sporting some years ago?
A person who was born on 5th February 1985 in Madeira (a very beautiful Portuguese island!).
He joined Sporting Club de Portugal in 1999, making his debut aged 16.
In 2003, aged 18, he was bought for £12.24m by Manchester United.
He was a key player for Portugal as they reached the final of the European Championships in 2004 and the semi-final of the 2006 World Cup, where he was pilloried by England fans for his supposed part in getting Wayne Rooney sent off in the quarter-final.
I'm talking of course Of the most and great famous Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo!
The two players have since teamed up to win the Premiership title for their club this year. Nowadays they are good friends!
Ronaldo winning both Football Writers' and the PFA Player of the Year awards.
